Looking for Engineering Lead - Full Stack Development Core Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Leadership: Chart the course for the technical direction and strategy of the full-stack and data science teams, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and technological vision. 2. Full-Stack Development Supervision: Lead the development and enhancement of mobile and web applications, emphasising high-quality, responsive, and user-centric design using React and React Native. 3. Data Science Integration: Collaborate with the Data Science Lead, integrating advanced analytics and Python-based machine learning models into our services. 4. Cloud Infrastructure Oversight: Manage and optimise cloud infrastructure on DigitalOcean and AWS, prioritising scalability, security, and cost efficiency. 5. Database Management: Oversee MongoDB database operations, focusing on efficient data storage, availability, and performance. API Development: Develop and maintain robust APIs, ensuring seamless integration and communication between different software components. 6. Performance Monitoring with Sentry: Implement and utilise Sentry for real-time performance tracking and error logging to maintain high application reliability and user experience. 7. Messaging and Data Streaming: Implement Kafka for effective messaging and data streaming, ensuring efficient data flow across services. 8. Mentorship and Team Growth: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning, mentoring team members and facilitating their professional development. 9. Innovation and Best Practices: Keep abreast of the latest technological trends, implementing industry best practices in software development, data management, and cloud operations. 10. Design Team Coordination: Work in close collaboration with the Design Lead, ensuring that application development aligns with contemporary design standards and user experience trends. Qualifications: 1. Minimum 5-7 years of leadership experience in full-stack development. 2. Extensive experience with React and React Native for application development. 3. Proficiency in cloud environment management, particularly on DigitalOcean and AWS. 4. Skilled in MongoDB data management and Kafka service handling. 5. Expertise in developing robust APIs and performance monitoring using Sentry. 6. Strong problem-solving, strategic planning, and leadership abilities. 7.
